Due to the imminent refurbishment of the Travellers in Witton Gilbert, the meeting is moving for at least the next three months, Nov to January.

From the A1 Chester-Le-Street roundabout, take the A183 towards Sunderland, after about a mile take the first right towards Houghton Le Spring and the pub is 1/4 mile down on the right.

8th Kielder Vintage & Classic Vehicle Show. Sunday 11th May.

 Kielder Vintage & Classic Vehicle Show.

There will be a Kielder Classic Vehicle Run on Saturday 10th May and the 8th Kielder Vintage & Classic Vehicle Show will take place on Sunday 11th May.

As well as a spectacular array of old vehicles including cars, motor cycles, tractors and commercials there will be stalls, crafts, bbq and free exhibition. There'll be lots for the kids too including a quiz/trail and a mini tractor and trailer to play on in Kielder Castle.



FREE to spectators but please note £4 all day parking charge.

Turned out nice again

Nice turnout for the Holy Island run. For the first time I can recall, there were more Vitesses than anything else, 2 MkII convertibles and a rare genuine estate.

We also had 2 13/60 Heralds, 2 MkIII Gt6 and one solitary Spitfire, the eagle eyed may also be able to pick out the other classic, one Vauxhall Victor estate, trying to hide away and failing, also, the future classic (maybe) in the shape of a Fiat Barchetta, definately not my Peugeot!

The weather held out and the roads were quiet though muddy in places.
